About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and talented Associate SDE Developer to join our DevSecOps team as an intern. This on-site internship opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with 0-2 years of experience who are passionate about software development, security, and operations. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to build, secure, and maintain robust software systems while learning industry best practices in DevSecOps methodologies. Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, testing, and deploying secure software applications under the guidance of senior developers
- Support the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines with integrated security checks
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and security standards
- Help identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle
- Document technical processes, security procedures, and development workflows
- Monitor and analyze application performance and security metrics
- Assist in automating security testing and compliance checks within deployment pipelines
- Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Support incident response activities and help implement preventive measures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 0-2 years of experience in software development or related technical roles
- Basic understanding of software development principles and programming concepts
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go
- Understanding of fundamental security concepts and best practices
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
- Ability to work on-site at our office location
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
